Does anyone know Janet (Jane) Coyle. She married Michael Carnie (a soldier) around 1850-60. They had children Joseph, Charles and Mary. The three children appear on the 1841 census living at 80 Bridge Street, Tradeston, Glasgow. No sign of the parents. Joseph went on to marry Catherine Queen and then Rose Ann Burns. If this sounds familiar get in touch.
