If I remember there is some confusion over her birth place Ireland or Australia??

Was James on the 1881 census with his wife and child......... I know the name was mistranscribed (can't remember to what though).

Her surname was Williams (previously married though).

If only.... I have been looking for 12 years or more,perhaps they were not married after all???? I have tried Mary Ann Rivett and ??williams,Mary Ann Williams and James Crewes,Mary Ann Rivett and James Crewes with no luck at all,anywhere.I can't even find his birth certificate.
