Same Joseph in 1911 in the workhouse, perhaps he classed himself as a widower. They seem to have been apart for most of their marriage. |

If no Father's name on birth certificate, then illegitimate. If then there is a Father's name on marriage certificate, an invented name. It could be what the child has been told by the Mother, or what the person has invented themselves. |
