Hi Brian,
We were in contact some time ago regarding Nora. She was the daughter of my great-great uncle George Curtis. My uncle Albert, a direct cousin of Nora is still living.
I was wondering whether you had found any further members of the family? Alison

Sorry, I should have added that Stanley John (b.1898) also had 2 older siblings; Frances Irene (1889) known as Rene and George Herbert (1890). These children were from George senior's first marriage to Mary Frances Brown. Nora had an elder sister Doris (1901-1903) - their mother was Caroline Gertrude Mary Greenwood. Rene, George H and Stanley all emigrated to America, living in Pennsylvania with their uncle Wiliam Curtis. Stanley and George later moved to California.
Rene died without ever marrying in May 1976. George H's death is unknown, Stanley died in 1982.
Nora married Harold Smith on 4th February 1924 - I have been unable to find any children from this marriage at this current time. Harold died in Southampton in 1994.
I hope this helps
Alison
