Find Ancestors

Trying to find more information on Henry Davies born abt 1847 Wales and Eliza, have no surname for her yet, she was born abt 1851 and been told born in Malta not sure if that is correct. They had a son called Thomas Henry Davies born in Sunderland Co.Durham abt 1874 he married Mary Ann Cameron. I can find a marriage foe Thomas and MAry but nothing for Henry and Eliza.

Eliza Davies was c1851 so cant see these are the right census especially if she is a widow in 1871 but the son Thomas was born 1874,Born 1821 she would be a bit on the old side to having a baby in 1874!!

With above census, all children except Thomas and mary born in Cornwall.
Have deleted wrong census reports - got carried away finding Elza's born in Malta! Apologies.

If you look at the 1891 census the birth tallies for Lucy and also she is the same age as Thomas.

I think i need to buy more credit, had loads of census on my other computer and lost the lot. Janet does it say were Herbert and Mary were born, this seems to be the right family.

Lindsey, Mary and Thomas born Durham the rest in Cornwall, including Herbert. Seems a bit odd with the birth years!! Might have been mixed up when recorded.
Have you looked for Cornwall marriages?
Also, do you happen to have an occupation for Henry? Can't make out the 1891 one, but if it is the same might be able to read it.

Definitly looks like Eliza has married before not sure if in 1881 that she is living with her brother or her sister in law living with them.

The 1881Henry's occupation matches with the Henry living with Eliza in 1891 - I can read it now i know what I'm looking at! So he must have married before, as must Eliza.

If you have found eliza's birth in malta, does it give a surname to narrow down the marriager search?
