I am trying to locate anyone who may be related to the Duthie's or Sim's of Rosehearty & Pitullie (respectively), Scotland. My ggg grandfather was George Duthie who was born around 1830. He was a fisher from Rosehearty. He married Jane Watt who I think was from Pitsligo. They had a son John, he married Christina Ewen( born 1853)of Macduff. They had several children, Mary, John, George, Williams x 2, Benjamin, James. Mary (born 1892)(my g granny) married William sim from Pittulie, Nr Pitsligo. Then they had my granny, norah duthie sim, she married my granda Jimmy Mutch and then they had my mum - Moira Duthie Mutch and then there was me! I'd so love to hear from anyone whos related or may have any info which could help trace other members of the family. Best wishes & happy hunting! |
