My husband's father was Frederick Arthur Love, he was born approximately 1894 and married Rosina Chamberlain (then 21 years old) on 18 March 1916. He then lived in Tottenham. N London. His father's name was Frederick (William be believe Love. He was a mystery man as none of the family seemed to have heard him talk about any siblings or his parents and because he lived in the Tottenham Edmonton area it is assumed that he originated from this area. He died on 27 December 1967 aged 73. Any information would be helpful Sheila |

Just in case Frederick William Love WAS the portmanteau maker, these are probably the marriage details of his father as the occupation and name both tie in, but you can cross ref with census material later if he was the right Frederick William Love. |

Anything is possible as Ron knows very little about his father and his brother and sisters are now dead. His father did serve in the Durham Light Infantry during WW1 but I think was injured but he just didn't talk about anything. |

Ron's eldest sister was named Florence May Love so maybe this name ties in with this family. |
