i am trying to find the parents of my grandparents james garside and mary mcewan.jim and mary lived in wallsend newcastle upon tyne.they had 3 daughters and 2 sons i am james known as lee,son of edward known as tony.i would be grateful of any news

Its an old post but here goes anyway.
James D Garside married Mary McEwan
Ref for cert: Mar 1937 Nthmbld.S. 10b 455 (you should get the fathers name from this cert. )
There are two possible births for a James D Garside
Dec 1915 mother Taylor ref: Oldham 8d 904
Sep 1919 mother Ibbotson ref: Sheffield 9c 950
that should be enough for you to narrow it down
