Is there anyone researching the name GILDER from the Paddington/Kensington/Chelsea areas of London after 1840 approx., or from the Cheltenham area prior to 1840? My great grandfather was John GILDER born Cheltenham 1840. He married Mary Ann Rogers. He had a brother William Morgan GILDER among others unknown. John and Mary Ann Gilder had the following children: John William b. 1864, Alice Charlotte b. 1868, Alfred Henry b. 1870, Annie Maria b. 1872, Mary b. 1874, Walter Freerick b. 1876, Henry George b. 1879 and Charles Edward b. 1883 (my grandfather). Any connections, however remote, I would love to hear from you. |
