James Gillespie My natural G-Grandfather was a James Gillespie - no further details are known of him, other than that he was the manager of the Waverley Hotel in Edinburgh around 1904. He is believed to have died before 1928 - date from my grans marriage cert. My natural G-Grandmother was a Lizzie Campbell, who also worked at the hotel. Again nothing further is known about her, other than that she married a James Louden (Lowden), and the couple moved to England. Tried all usual searches but hit a brick wall with this one. |
