GOLDSTONE My great, great, great grandfather, Peter Goldstone, was born in Gretton, Northamptonshire, in 1760. He matrried Elizabeth Clarke of Lyddington, Rutland, 12. 11. 1783. Peter's mother, Susannah, is buried in Gretton churchyard, next to Peter & Elizabeth. The gravestone states she came from Yaxley near Peterborough [now Cambs]. Peter had a son, Peter, born in 1791. His daughters married inti the Peach and the Morris families of Northants/Leics. His grand-daughter was my great grandmother - sounds complicated! I would love to hear from any Yaxley Goldstones etc etc to add to my "tree" Best wishes, Alan brooks, 6, Kingsway, Waterloo, Liverpool, L22 4RQ [0151 920 8770] email [email protected]
