Member Since: February 2003 Posts: 1 Send Message	My Name is Gretl Davies, nee Claxton. My mother, Kathleen Mary Claxton, was adopted in about 1924 by William and Ethelwyn Every. However, she knows absolutely nothing about her life before the age of three. She was born in 1921, to someone with the surname Greatrex, or Greatorex, and registered as Kathleen Nadine Greatrex. This was, I believe, in the Newbury area of Berkshire. All those people who might have been able to shed some light on her parentage have since died. Can anyone help?
