My name is Janet Neilson. My maternal grandfather was Evan Lloyd Griffiths(born In Swansea 1896). His father was Thomas Griffiths (born in Llangathen Carmarthenshire c.1852) married to Margaret Lloyd (born Llangyfelach, Swansea). Thomas's father and mother were John Griffiths (born Llangathen born c. 1823/4) and Mary Thomas (born Llandeilo 1827). John's parents were Morgan Griffith (born Llandeilo 1788) and Elinor Evan (born Llandeilo 1786). Elinor/Eleanor's father was Timothy Evan probably from Cardiganshire. Does anyone have any information about this branch of the Griffiths family? Are there any of them still living in Carmarthenshire? |
