The family came over from Germany and believed to be connected with Samuel Hahnemann (the founder of homeopathy. Grandmother (Irish) - - Cowper Father - Ernest William - born c1900 Mother - Very May Hockley - born c 1900 Father had 2 siblings - Reginald (died young) and Winifred (married name not known) - she had at least one child.
