Trying to find information on Fanny Harding . who was a House maid in Woodland terrace. New Road Hound. nr Southampton 1917/1918 She was approx 18-20 years old. I think her mother was called Louisa and her father William was a cab driver at that time. She gave birth to Harold Leslie Harding 7th September 1918 SouthStoneham. I think he was born in Southampton Hospital. and he was registered by a George Wood , 1 Botley Road, West End. Harold was taken to Walthamstow E.17 The family who cared for him called him by the name - Leslie Harold Brown. He was not adopted and I know Fanny looked for him at one time. I would love to find out about my grand parents. Can anyone help? Please Regards Ann Liffen |
