Our grandmother Rose Duddy married Harry Harper on the 28/7/1919 at the parish church Holy Trinity, Bordesley, Birmingham. The witnesses were Peter Duddy and Lily Harper. He left the family when dad (Peter) was approx 2yrs. My brother, sister and myself are tracing the different branches of our family tree and would like to know about Harry and his family. Our grandfather was born in Deritend Birmingham 31/1/1897. His father, also Harry was a labourer in a brick yard, his mother was Florence Harper nee Harwood. We believe they married on 22/12/1895. His father was either Harry or Henry and was a sword mounter. Florence's father was Thomas and was a carpenter, as is my brother. Is there any one out there who could fill in the gaps for us? |
