One of my contacts has given me details of a Hatton family. Here is the 1881 CensusRecord including a William Hatton aged 11. Thomas F Hatton M 41 M Dover, Kent Head Dockyard Worker Charlotte Hatton M 42 F Portsmouth, Hants Wife James Hatton 15 M Tunbridge, Somerset Son Scholar Emma Hatton 13 F Borwood, Middlesex Daur Scholar Wm.Hatton 11 M Portsmouth Son Scholar Charles Hatton 9 M Portsmouth Son Scholar Robert Hatton 7 M Portsmouth Son Scholar Thomas Hatton 5 M Portsmouth Son Scholar Harry Hatton 2 M Portsmouth Son Scholar Place of residence was 7 Nile Street, Census place: Portsea, Hampshire. an entry in the 1881 census. I believe William aged 11 is my father-in law's grandfather (maternal) making Thomas F HAtton his gt grandfather. Does anyone have links with this family? Naila Pratt
