Find Ancestors

My great granddad was Joshua John Hillyard born 1840-1841 I know he signed up for the Royal Naval Reserves and he married Mary Jane Barber of Norfolk and went to live in Grimsby and had a son Joshua John and a daughter Clara he died about 1875 any information on the Hillyards would be good.

If we weren't bonkers before we certainly are now. I spent an hour or more trawling through the 1881 for Clara Jane Hillyard, John Hillyard and Mary Jane - as per the information given in the original post.!!!

Admittedly the first post by AOGG wasn't them but Ann did say that there might be a family link which is always worth looking into as it could be a brother, cousin, etc.

Maybe that's what Beryl is referring to then? Because surely the rest are perfectly valid?
