Member Since: December 2002 Posts: 1 Send Message	Used to be called Alexander Hobbis, Adopted in early 50's. Now name is Lance Porter. Parents before adoption were Charlie and Rose Hobbis. Does anyone know where the name Hobbis comes from! Is it French. Seems impossible task tracing back when Dr. Barnado's lost all my notes regarding the care I was in. I have no idea why I was put into care and this has caused many problems in my life. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers Lance. Also think I had a sister who was killed, maybee thats why I was put into care. Her name was Charmaign Hobbis.
