I am trying to find any of my grandfathers relatives he was born George Thomas Hopkins 18/10/1904 in east london. he had 4 sisters Lillian, Mick, Nelly and Peggy. My grandfather worked as a train driver for most of his life and married twice. 1st wife Winifred and second Mary Anne. He had a nick name 'The Black Prince' given when working on the railway. He lived in Harleden, London late 1930s - 1940s. then on to cricklewood london when my mother June Hauxwell nee Hopkins was born. I think his father was named Thomas but can not be certain If anyone can provide any information, please contact me. |
