Member Since: April 2003 Posts: 3 Send Message	Can anyone help me trace my fathers family tree. He was born Vincent Risdale Hoss on november 14th 1919 in either Darlington or Llanelli. I believe his parents were Louis Philip Hoss and Amelia nee Smith. Amelia came from Darlington and he met her when he was a musician at the Richmond Theatre in London and she was in service with a family in Richmond. My father had an unhappy childhood and never spoke of his family in fact he lead my mother to believe that they had passed away until she received a letter from my grandmothers sister informing my father of my grandfathers death in 1952. I was told that my grandfather came from eastern Germany but that was never verified. My father had a brother called Norbert - I believe he was about 2 years older than my dad. If anyone out there knows of the family - please could you get in touch. There are so many missing links I would like to complete for both myself and my own children.
