Thomas Houghton in the 1911, b 1860 census is the one I am looking for as my Grandfather Peter was a fireman on the railway. Looks like he had children from a previous marriage as the wife Annie is recorded as 29ys and the children are in their 20s
It looks like his father as also Thomas could be from 65 Lugsmore Lane as he would be 20 in 1881 and the wife Annie Henshall. Confirmation of the marriage Thomas b 1860 to Annie ould ghelp.

In 1911 the wife has been married 29 years and is 49 years old - not age 29. It is just the way it has been copied over and not reset.
