Member Since: March 2003 Posts: 0 Send Message	Hounslow, as a place name, is from Anglo-Saxon for 'burial place of (a man called) Dog'. This probably relates to a local AS tribal chief. The family name is probably from the place name (Hounslow, nr Heathrow, London).
