Trying to find Hyams

Trying to find Simeon (or Simon) Hyams, born 1856. Jewish, but married in south Africa a Boer Roman Catholic called Martina (surname unknown) with whom and their three children (Minnie, Leonard and Herbert) came to London, England c.1892. Martina died in London in that year. Any information, especially about Martina (who may have been known as "Tiny"), would be of interest. I now (September, 2004) have evidence that Simeon was the name he used in later life, but that his birth name was Simon. He was born in London in 1856. He had a brother named Philip (born 1863), who married Bessie Whyl, daughter of a boot manufacturer, in 1893, and by 1901 had four children, named respectively Rebeca, Philip, Elsie and Joseph. There were also three sisters, Annie (born 1854-5), Selina (born 1859-60) and Minnie (born 1864-5). Their father was Moses Hyams (son of Lazarus Hyams), a butcher, who carried on business at 113, Middlesex Street (Petticoat Lane) in London and was married in 1853 to Rebecca Israel, whose father, Simon, had died before the marriage . Moses died before 1893. In 1881 Annie had the married(?) name of Simmonds and a son called Montague recorded in the 1881 census as being 14 years old, which would make his mother 12 at the time of his birth - unlikely, but just possible. Does anyone know anything about these people?
