Isabella Euphamia Tait (midwife in Kelso) born 1833 died 1915 married on 19.12.1856 in Roxburgh a Thomas Jeffrey (whitesmith) born 1823. Their children: John Jeffrey 1851, James Jeffrey 1852, Maggie Jeffrey 1859, Thomas Jeffrey 1862, William Tait Jeffrey 1863, Euphamia Ann Jeffrey 1868 (my great grandmother),Janet Jeffrey 1866, Mary Jeffrey 1870, Isabella Jeffrey 1873, Peter Jeffrey 1874, Annie Jeffrey 1877. They mainly lived in Winding Street, Kelso where the mother of them all was the local midwife.
