Any info gratefully received on Hull Jessops as follows: Thomas b. Mirfield, Yorks., 1819, moved to Hull before 1843- coal merchant/gen labourer. Green Lane, Sculcoates, Hull. Wife Mary (nee Mcdonald b. 1821, d. 1867) 2nd wife Jane Ann Dry (maiden name unknown) Children: Hannah b. 1844; George 1846; Charlotte 1846; Elizabeth 1850; Menessey 1851; Alfred 1856; Herbert Mcdonald 1859 (my gt. gt. grandfather); Menessey (Minnie) 1862; Harry Mcdonald 1863. Mostly lived in Hull but Harry McD moved to W. Yorks (Leeds area) late 19th Century. Menessey (b.1862) lived with relatives in Mirfileld then lived with brother Harry in Leeds.
