Find Ancestors

Hi Can anyone help me find the date of the marriage marriage of John McGill to Isabella Fenton believe it may have been 1937 ? in Glasgow

I think the only place anyone would find it would be at
www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk

and you can certainly search there! Free to register, pay to view -- but I believe for events that recent you have to order rather than view on line.

I did the quick search for the names w/o stating a date and got one result (I don't have active credits to spend to view the result summary).

Oh, all right. Narrowing it to 1935-1940, still one result.

You will need to look at Scotlands people for the date. I don't have any credits left.
It looks like they married 1936 in a place called Provon lanarkshire.

I don't think you will be able to look at this certificate I think you can look on line at marriage certs up untill 1934.
You might be able to send for it. not sure on Cost.

Information already provided is correct ,as above.
Here it is as you can see there is no image avail. You would need to request it at about £10 or attend Park Circus Glasgow or Edinburgh Reg. to view, again about £10 per day, but yyou will be able to day as many searches as you like. Need to book to attend reg offices. Not sure of cost exactly. It will be a couple of years before you are able to view it online.

about Isabella Fenton alone, on a very quick count. (Not really complete; just search by putting Fenton in the search box at the top of this thread ... and that's just one of the several surnames our Christine / Abbey / Pooh / Sunshine has harassed members with over the last year or so.)

Now if anybody wants to count the times this individual has been given various advice over and over and over, and had the same searches done for her over and over and over, by well-meaning innocent other members of this website ...

I hope anyone newly trapped into her game takes note of her name and number this time around.
