Hi,
I am trying to trace my Fathers family back through th e generations but am getting stuck at my G>G>Grandfathers.Has anyone got a Thomas Jones c1803 and perhaps born in Trefnant North Wales married to Mary Jones. They had 5 children,Mary,John,Daniel,Harriet and Henry.

Perhaps you could try quick search in the box above but youll probably get pages of matches.

Oh dear! ....what a task! Do you know the childrens DOB's and where they were born?

Once you have as much information as you can gather, it would be worth ringing the nice people at the Denbighshire record office, which is located in the Old Ruthin Gaol @ Ruthin Denbighshire. I am sure they will be able to help you. Or better still pay them a visit if you are not to far away.

Thanks I will try that,I am still very new at all this and with a name like Jones it doesn't help.
Unfortunately my Mothers maiden name was Jones as well so I have double the problem.

hi constance

this could be a possibilty i have search thomas jones & mary jones for around that year and this is the nearest match i can find ??? & you say they had children 2 john & mary of whom may have been called after his mother & father (just a thought )
