	I posted a possible birth on your previous thread for William But as already said you need the marriage cert. Still can not find a birth for Dorothy which is another reason to get the marriage cert as it would give her age, name of father and show if previously married

	As he was born December (quarter) 1898 --and the census where taken early on in the year then his birth would look as if it was a year out on the census ---it always says "about" on the census transcription. In all census for all people you have to give a year or two each way--if everything else fits then there you go ---HOWEVER you really must back this census up with his Marriage certififcate--to see if we have the right one on the census, his Fathers name and occupation should be on his Marriage cert.

	The YOB on the census transcription is just an estimate based on calculation of age the original gives his age as 2 1901 - 2 = 1899 however the census was taken on 31 March 1901 so he would have been given the age of 2 if he was born between April 1898 and Mar 1899
