hi all, im trying to find out any info on my mums side of the family my mum's name was kathleen cromie from gorey,co wexford ireland she passed away in 1987 aged 49 she was raised in this area and also has a sister margaret and they moved to england in her early 20's but all her family all came from gorey co/wexford my nan name was sarah cromie she worked for years in the railway hotel in gorey co/wexford its not called that now,she remained living in ounavarra near ballycanew sadly she also passed away in late 1980's her family name was kavanagh again all came from same area but i have no information on any of the cromie or kavanagh family only that my nan married an english man a francis known as frank cromie from birkenhead liverpool my nan returned to co/wexford to live with her father mr kavanagh sorry im not sure of his first name only that he came from a large family of kavanaghs all i know is that frank cromie remained in birkenhead liverpool he then died in late 1970's 80's so i believe.. i would love to know of any info so its a long shot but i would be most grateful if any one knows of anything, as there is no one left to ask they have all passed away and sadly iv hit a brick wall, thanks for reading this and good luck to every one searching ... |
