JAMES KAVANAGH I am trying to find some info re James Kavanagh who was born in Northern Ireland c1879 and came to the Oldham area as a young man. He married Alice Hague and in 1907 their son James (my father-in-law) was born. On his son's birth certificate James Snr was shown to be a drummer in an orchestra. His later whereabouts are unknown, but on his son's marriage cert.(1936) he is shown to be deceased, but whether this is accurate or not I do not know. No-one in the family knows very much about James but I am curious and any clues would be welcome. Thanks - Pauline. |
