Find Ancestors

Arthur Kennedy b 1909/12 to Henry Walter Kennedy and Mary Ann Parker.
Lived in Fulham SW6 , then Roehampton SW15.
Its thought he married a Mrs. M. (Margaret?) Madden and had a daughter also possibly named Margaret.!?
Can anyone find anything on him please?

Thank you, I have found the marriage 1961 Wandsworth. How do I go about finding where they lived for definite, I'm sure it was around 1962-68 that he was living in Roehampton SW15 London. ???? and any children etc?

You can't find where they were as electoral registers for that time are searchable by address only. All you can do is rely on certs, in this case childrens' births.
As you have found the marriage, you should be able to search for possible offspring - what site are you using?

Just this one, I have found his death in April 1987 Hillingdon Middlesex, but cannot access the viewing !!!! ARRGGHHH...
Could if you have the access please look at the marriage certs. and see what Mrs. Madden's maiden name was and her fathers name please. Sorry for asking .. :)but I need help with the tree ?

There is a birth in that area for a Margaret in 1962 have you seen that?

Just to add the only marriage certs that can be viewed are pre 1921 London marriages in some areas only on ancestry

Have you searched the trees as there are 3 people with Arthur in thier tree?

yes but the ones I found don't fit in with his birth place.? is your search different?

sorry, yes they do have the right Arthur. but search ends in same place for all of us. Nothing really known at all, at least I now have his marriage and death details. grim. just need to find his wife's maiden name.....

we think, that the Daughter Margaret might have been from his wife's first marriage.!

I can't tell you her father's name but I can confirm that Arthur did indeed marry a 'Margaret' Madden in 1961

no but going on around the same time as my Uncle 1912 or thereabouts!

Thank you, I now have the marriage certificate for my Uncle Arthur Kennedy and his wife Mrs. Margaret Madden, I now have her maiden name. So will see if I can find anything out.....other wise I'll be back asking for more help.
