My KINGSWELL family have been traced back to 1795 on the Isle of Wight. This was my mother’s maiden name, and she had no brothers. Also, none of her boy KINGSWELL cousins had any male grand-children, so our line has come to an end. In the last couple of years, I have been in touch with a descendant of my Great-Grand-father’s brother (Paul Kingswell), whose family also were born on the Island, though I’m not sure whether any still live there. Any KINGSWELLs still living on the Island may be related to me, but very distantly. It is interesting to note that the birth-places mentioned on this GenesConnected KINGSWELL site, are mainly in the south of England. Shirley |
