Hi, I have the birth certificate of Edward James Ludlow born in 1884 (my great grandfather) at Toxteth Park, Liverpool - parents are John Ludlow and Catherine Ann Ludlow (nee McCullough - - on BMD noted as McCulloch) - can't find anything further for either? Can anyone help?

This looks like his marriage but I cant see him on the censuses

It says 'labourer' for John Ludlow's occupation and the address is in Toxteth Park - can't quite make it out ....2 Court Ashwell....?

Sorry, I've looked at Ashwell Street Toxteth Park on 1881 and 1891 census and I cannot see anything that could be them, there are lots of "court" possibly tennament type properties on Ashwell street inhabited by labourers.

I think you might need to get the two marriage certs and take it from there
