Hi, I am looking for anyone who can help me. My Grandfathers name was John Mallett although he was known to most people as Jack.He was born in 1901 in the London area. I do know he was the eldest of five brothers who were all born around 1900-1910 and have recently discovered that there were also two younger sisters although one died at a very young age. The second daughter is believed to have been adopted. All of the boys were put into a home as it is beleived that there paretns were alcoholics. John went on to have four children , one of whom is my Dad (Len)who was born in 1932.John was married to Mable Levine Preston. We have also discovered that three of the boys used the surname Elliott, whils two stayed with their given surname of Mallett. There is also a possibility of a connection with the surname Kettle. Any help would really be appreciated. Loraine Mallett |
