Is there a U S Census after an April 1902 birth that i could access to find out a Sheldon Angus May born in Minnesota.
I am trying to find him and who his parents were.

There's this story on a tree on Ancestry:
Sheldon May His story1908 to1980 , Vermilion Ab.,dawsonCreek B.C. Sheldon May was born in 1902 the youngest child of Archibald and Mary May near Malmo mn.In 1908 he came with his father ,mother, and three brothers to the new provence of Alberta. his father and three brothers filed on homesteads but as he was only six years old he was too young. Schooling was a problem but as he had a cousin with school age children he was sent to live there during the school week. How ever this didnt work that well as he didnt belong in that school district and was to pay a penny a day to be taught .Pennys were hard to come by as a result Sheldons schooling was sketchy at best.It didnt stop him from getting into mischief . one day a friend and him took the wheels off the teachers buggy and changed the front for the back. The teacher never noticed until some one told him . dad and his friend were never caught .By the way they were nine years old at the time. By the time he was ten years old he was out of school and doing what he could on the farm. Sheldon had the equivalent of a grade three education. When he was fifteen he worked all summer to get a saddle only to have the saddle burned in a fire .That winter his brother Jim took him to work in a lumber camp with him .For the next twenty five years Sheldon worked offand on in the lumber industry. In 1928 the homesteading bug hit them and Jim ,Sheldon, and a friend went to Doe river B.C and filed on homesteads. In august of that year my mother and Sheldons Mother packed up from Vancouver B. C.and came to Grand Prairie where they were married in the Anglican rectory. My mother said their supper that night consisted of greasy bear meat and burned potatoes. The next twelve years were spent in poverty as it was the great depresion. Sheldon and his brother Jim always looked after their mother. No matter how bad things were or how poor they were thier mother always had a home. mMy dad was a great story teller we knew when he would say Imind one time we would hear a good story. Many were about the lumber camps and his life as a young person on the farm. Afterthe death of his brother mom and him descided we needed proper schooling and there was a school on the land grandma owned at Vermilion they descided to move there. after we all grew up dad and mom retired to Emderby B.C.Both dad and mom passed away there . mrustandadded this on 11 Jan 2008

searching vital records in British Columbia
http://search.bcarchives.gov.bc.ca/sn-1B26E1F/gbsearch/Births,Marriages,Deaths
Name: Sheldon Angus May Place Enderby Reg. Number: 1983-09-013337 Copy Available Date: 1983 8 28 (Yr/Mo/Day) Age: 81 Event: Death Microfilm #: B13632 (GSU # 2073149)
there's no other May death in Enderby up to 1989
(British Columbia is unusual for how late it gives access to deaths, but births are only to 1903 and marriages to 1934)
Alberta does not have records available on line
