Member Since: April 2003 Posts: 0 Send Message	I am trying to find details of the family of Mary McCracken who was born in Scotland c1855, daughter of John McCracken. She was a domestic servant immediately prior to her marriage to Wilfred Dowthwaite in Carlisle, Cumberland in 1881, aged 26 years. Unfortunately I don't know where in Scotland she was born or her mother's name. Her father was described as a farm labourer on her marriage certificate. If anyone has any possible leads please get in touch.
