Hi. Ann McGill born about 1841 in Ireland, was the daughter of Capt John McGill and Jane McCauley. Has anyone any connections with, or ideas about, this family please? Capt John McGill was deceased when daughter Ann married Robert Gordon in Springburn, Lanark in 1860. My grandmother was a daughter from this marriage. Can anyone at all shed any light on this one? It looks as though I am banging my head on a brick wall. Any pointers at all will be most appreciated. traa dy liooar Derek
