I am currently researching my family tree and so far I have managed to trace back my ancestry to 1796,My family name originates it would seem from Aberdeenshire, Although my Grandfather and Great-Grandfather were born in the South Leith district of Edinburgh. Other names in our family through marriage are Yule,Mason,Easton and Gray all from the Edinburgh area of Scotland. Another name connected through marriage is Bremner which has its origins in the Grantown district of Aberdeenshire. My Great and Grandfather moved to Greenock area, And then to Glasgow where my Father was born, anyone who has any connection with these names please get in touch. |
