I am trying to find charles albert miller approx birth 1867. Location in 1911 Poplar, Occupation Shipwright. The 1911 and 1901 census state 2 different birth locations 1 states Poplar London, the other states Gravesend/Kent/London. Charles's wife is katie/kate. Any help regarding birth marriage and death records including siblings etc much appreciated. Thanks in advance

On the Banns certificate are the addresses for both Kate and Charles but unreadable. In the margin it also says "to be married 21st June after service".

Is the age on his marriage cert consistent with those on the censuses ?

I dont have the marriage cert but will be able to buy one and search from there many thanks

HIs birth may not have been registered. Until 1875, there were no penalties for not registering births.................

Age is given as 24 for them both.
There is writing at side of Banns image, looks like they were to be married after service of last bann calling?...

I have posted the information from the Banns and Marriage Certificates above. The last Banns were called 21 June 1890 and the marriage took place 8th July 1891.

The Banns Certificate does not have a year at the top. It just says 18___
so it is possible that it is 1891.

I'll leave you to look for them in 1881............there may have been more children by then

same family in 1881
