Ada was born in Australia around 1880 in Tamworth NSW. She married Joseph Dawson in 1911 in Tamworth NSW. She died approximately 1930 but unsure where.Really would like to find her birth date.

If Ada's parents are William and Mary, the NSW BDM shows the following death in 1929:

Also appears that Joseph and Ada had at least one child as the death record of the following is shown in 1924:

If William and Mary are not Ada's parents there are three possible alternatives you could look at the others I have ruled out as being a bit old to be marrying in 1911)

Certifcate: 17282/1880

Father: WILLIAM

Certificate: 1156/1882
Name: MORAN, ADA S F
Father: MICHAEL
Mother: ANNIE
District: SYDNEY

Certificate: 14135/1886

District: GOULBURN

You will need to order the death certifcate or marriage certificate of Ada to establish the correct year.

Groom's surname: Dawson
Grooms Given Name: Joseph
Bride's Last Name at time of marriage: Moran
Brides Given Name(s): Ada
District: Tamworth.

Hi Bronnie, what are the paren't s names shown on the marriage certificate?

The names of parents on marriage certificate are
William Moran and Mary Kelly with witnesses being
Frederick Moran and Louisa Dawson.

The 1880 birth in Maitland sounds more likely then.

Ada ovbiously grew up, married and died in Tamworth so she may have naturally thought that she was born there.

So Ada was:

Born 1880, Maitland, NSW
Married 1911, Tamworth, NSW to Joseph Dawson
Had a son Frank who died in 1923
Died 1929, Tamworth, NSW
