Trying to find Norminton

Hi, my name is Nikki Norminton & I am trying to find anyone else with same surname as myself (as it is quite unusual). My grandad (Richard (DicK) Norminton had been looking into this before his death in December 2001 and I know that he had a contact with a few people who turned out to be distant relatives, but unfortunately I do not know their first names. If any other Norminton's see this, please contact me. Thank you Nikki

Hi,

I know its a long time ago (2003) since you asked any Normintons to contact you but I only just came across this by putting Norminton in the keyword. My mother was a Norminton, Annie Elizabeth, born 1913 in Hull. Her father was Harry Edmondson Norminton, born 1891 in Mirfield. I have traced the family back quite a long way. Could it be the same family as yours?

I would appreciate any info you could give me. Thanks.

Val

Hello Val, you have replied to an old thread and it is doubtful that Nicola is looking for replies.

If you are looking for possible connections on this site, then the best thing to do is to put the names you are researching into the Search Trees Box (above in dark green bar) to see if anyone else has them in their tree.

If you find a connection, you can contact the tree owner.

If you would like help with your research then why not start a thread of your own? Take a look at the first post on this board for further advice. Cx.
