I am trying to locate my birth mother Rita Pauline Slattery who gave birth to twin girls Geraldine Patricia and Antoinette Maria on May 1st 1959. She placed the girls into the foster care of her friends Olive and Kenneth Ross shortly after their birth. The girls were born in the Royal Free Hospital annexe, 76a Liverpool Rd, Islington, North London. They were baptized in Church of the Sacred Heart, Eden Grove, Holloway N7 on 2nd August 1959. Rita married Robert John O'Brien late 1959 - early 1960's and had at least one daughter called Caroline Mary O'Brien born 8th December 1961 and baptized on 31st December 1961 at St Mellitus Church Tollington Park N4, her God Parents were Gerrard Barrett and Patricia Considine. It is possible that Rita and Robert could have had more children. Any information however vague would be very much appreciated. |
