Hi, Im trying to find out anything about my family tree.My grandfathers name was william,he was stationd in India where he met his wife Peggy [Indian].They had four children Jean,Billy,Betty,and Edward [my father].All were born in India [Lahoar,I think].They moved back to Clapham North south London in 1955.My grandfather died in 1960.My grandmother died in 1994.I think ive got [step] relatives with the name Cowan living in Scotland from my Grandmothers side.The rumours are that my Grandfather came from a family which owned or run pubs in south London, he did something wrong and so joined the Queens own Scotish guards, who knows! Any help would be very much appreciated |
