I am trying to find members of my Father Edward Pearse's family. He had 13 brothers and sisters-Leonard, Dorothy, Peter, Vera, Elsie are the only names I recall. Some died in infancy, including twins. He was born in Highbury, London on 8th May 1908. His father, Hal, left the family (Mother, Rose Marie) to make his fortune as a muscian and composer in the early 1920's. He composed the song attributed to Irvin Berlin "Rosemarie", which he dedicated to my grandmother (he sold the rites to Irvin Berlin-common practice in those days!). Would love to hear from any of the family out there. Greatly appreciated Colette (Rosemarie Pearse) |
