I am looking for any information on James Penrose, born around 1842. He married Ann Lauder in Wanlockhead and they had seven children. Nicholas, John, Alexander, Elizabeth, Grace, Mary Ann and Robert. He was a Lead Miner and he died in 1887 in Wanlockhead. His father's name was Nicholas Penrose and his mother was Grace Rankin. I am looking for help in tracing James birth details and his parents marriage details, if he had any siblings etc. Any help will be gratefully received. Thanks Gail

Dennis
