trying to find information on my great grandfather John Perry. He was born around 1864 in Chapeltown, he married Hannah Mary Fisher (nee Stevens) in 1904 in Barnsley. His fathers name is Michael. Any info would be great.

Sorry its took so long to reply - no idea in which chapeltown he is from as I have only got his wedding certificate and that just says chapeltown, yorkshire.
Can I ask were you got william henry perry from as I have never heard of him before.

i found the list i posted on the 1911 census & wiliam henry is listed as living in the same household as john & hannah so could be john.s brother or another relation i don.t have any credit to check it out but if you got crdits for 1911 census it would tell you who he was
who does it name as wittnesse to the marriage on the cert in 1904 to hannah

and here they are in the 1901 census but hannah is listed under her middle name as sometimes happened in them days
plus she is already useing john surname but is the same people as the name match the names of the 1911 census but frank livesley fisher is missing from 1901 census with them as hes with his dead fathers familey & at some point between the 1901 & 1911 census he returned to live with hannah & step dad john

i can.t find anything on a michael perry in or around barnsley area at all we need to try & pin point johns birth date & send for his birth cert but as yet unable to find that either

Thanks - witnesses on the marriage certificate are Frederick Dent and Mary E Walker.
I am in contact with two other people who are part of the family and they are stuck on John - they think his dad Michael could have come from Ireland but no one knows for sure.
