Member Since: December 2002 Posts: 2 Send Message	ROSE PHILLIPS Mother of my Granfather (?who's the father). Rose was probably born between 1865 and 1885. ?1879 / 80. She worked as a domestic servant in Selwyn Street, Stoke, Staffordshire. My grandfather George Phillips was born in 1901 and then adopted. Family rumour has it that his father was an Opera singer and research shows that the D'Oyly Carte Opera company were in town at about the right time for conception. Does anyone know who Rose's ancestors were?
