looking for descendants of Joseph and Harriett Pickering .In 1881 they were 36 and 35 years old respectively and lived 44 Fore Bondgate Bishop Auckland Co Durham .They were both bookbinders by trade and had 7 children .Ralph B. 1865,Tom b.1867,Mary b.1870,Joseph b 1879,Jane. 1874 (my gt.Grandmother),Robert b 1878 and Anne b 1880 .Living with Jospeh and his wife was Joseph's Father Ralph 76yrs old in 1881 ,and a brother Robert aged 41 in 1881.By the time of the 1901 census Joseph was a widower living at 11 george Street Bishop Auckland with his son Ralph now 36,Mary 32yrs and Robert 23yrs .My Gt Grandmother Jane Pickering had married a James Parkin and was living at 30 High Tenters street Bp.Auckland with her daughters Martha (my Paternal Grandmother) and Margaret . Does any-one have any information as to what happened to the rest of the Pickering sons and daughters .I believe Tom married a Mary and had a son Alan in 1900 and Joseph moved to West Hartlepool with one of his sisters.
