Hello, my name is Stephen Porter, I would like to find any relatives of my father, Herbert William Porter. He was born in Bromley Kent 12th March 1910,now deceased. His Father was Clifford J Porter, a journalist and printer. My Grandmother's maiden name was Wordley, she was from the East Sussex area and she died around 1948. My Grandfather died in Bromley around 1957, I think he was about 75. My grandfather lived in the Bromley area but was born in Westom-Super-Mare in Somerset, where he was brought up by his Grandparents. I have been told that his Father died when he was a baby and his Mother remarried and went to live in South Africa taking his siblings with her. I have no history of my fathers family at all and would appreciate any help or information |
